And the next morning. I was gone. With only some vague idea of how to get to Midway Airport and an even less vague idea of how to book in without a ticket or credit card. It was sorted. I was through. I bought ‘god is not Great’ by Christopher Hitchens, some cherry Twizzlers and a bottle of Vitamin Water. I sat in the departure lounge, waiting to board flight, when I found myself in conversation with a woman from Florida. “Is it good?”
she asked, noticing the book. We ended up debating religion, and a need not to have religious doctrine control rules, laws and thought processes, but the mid-ground of believing in an un-tampering, pantheist God to which doesn’t threaten the world through destruction, stupidity and ignorance. “Keep on learning.” and she was gone. Good times. Watched The Goode Family and tried to watch some Bill Maher (which I found intolerable, due to catering to a moronic audience). Kari-Jo picked me up at the Airport, we drove back to hers and Josh’s, before soon heading out to a party Josh’s friends were having. I had no idea what to expect, but on arrival found a group of late-teens and twenty-somethings in Harry Potter gear. A great night it was too. Not being a fan of Harry Potter. It was pretty interesting. Tickets for the 12:01, opening night, had already been purchased, and there happened to be a spare ticket, so I went along.
