Wiseman is as Wiseman does.

Many of you will know Richard Wiseman, a magician and a Professor of the Public Understanding of Psychology.

His lecture was the first I attended during my three years at University. His research into the luck, chance and causality (alongside Derren Brown’s wisdom of ‘perception’ and ‘the image we project’) helped fuel the last three years of my work. Hats off to him. And to Derren Brown.

And for any haters of Derren Brown – read Trick of the Mind (or buy his up and coming book) and I’m sure you’ll find it hard to hate him after reading his delightful wit and clever stories.
